Amino Acids

Amino acids are what the body uses to make protein. Amino acids contain nitrogen – about 16% and getting the right balance between all of them can be difficult. Some can be made by the body while some can't and have to be obtained from our diets or by supplementation where necessary.

The amino acids that can't be made by the body are termed essential.
